In using this website and/or attending any Infosec In the City's events or functions, you are deemed to have read and agreed to the following terms of use.
The following terminology applies to these Terms of Use and Disclaimer Notice, and any or all Agreements:

"Visitor", "You" and "Your" refer to you, the person accessing this website and/or attending Infosec In the City's events or functions, and accepting Infosec In the City's Terms of Use.

"Ourselves", "We" and "Us" refers to the Infosec In the City's Staff and Crew.
Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to the same.
You accept that any form of computer misuse including, but not limited to, malicious computer practices are illegal. Computer misuse activities can include, but not limited to, scanning systems for vulnerabilities; conducting denial-of-service (DoS) attacks; and penetrating systems with the intent to view, delete or deposit files. It can also include defeating any authentication practice. You accept that breach of any of the laws may warrant you to be personally liable to criminal or civil prosecution if you engage in such acts.
You accept that the purpose of this website and/or any Infosec In the City's events or functions is to teach you about the importance of cybersecurity to protect computers, servers, and networks from malicious computing practices. You understand that our goal is not to teach you or anyone else how to engage in illegal behaviour. You acknowledge that you are not visiting this website or attending Infosec In the City's events or functions for any improper or illegal purpose. Furthermore, you understand that we do not explicitly or implicitly encourage you to use any computer program, tools, knowledge, or skills you may obtain to conduct activities that are considered unethical and/or illegal.
You undertake not to use any skills and knowledge learned from us for illegal purposes, either during browsing our website or attending our events or functions, or thereafter.
You indemnify and agree to keep Infosec In the City and its Staff and Crew of the vent fully indemnified against all claims, loss or damage whatsoever in respect to your death, injury, disability, or any loss or damage whatsoever arising from any cause in connection with your visit to this website or attendance at our events or functions.
CODE OF CONDUCT
This Code of Conduct applies to everyone participating in Infosec In the City events and/or functions (i.e. the Participants) — including, but not limited to, attendees, exhibitors, partners, sponsors, speakers, instructors, trainers, press, staff, and crew/volunteers.
Infosec In the City Staff and Crew/volunteers will enforce this Code of Conduct throughout all Infosec In the City events and/or functions.
Infosec In the City events and/or functions provides a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, socioeconomic status, or religion. We do not tolerate harassment in any form. Sexual language and imagery are not appropriate at any point of the event(s) or function(s). Participants violating these rules may be sanctioned or expelled from the event or function without a refund at the discretion of the Infosec In the City Staff or Crew/volunteer.
Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, cyber-bullying, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.
All participants shall not use sexualised imagery, activities, or other materials. All participants shall not use sexualised clothing/uniforms/costumes, or otherwise, create a sexualised environment.
Participants asked to cease any inappropriate behaviour shall comply immediately. If a participant engages in any inappropriate behaviour, Infosec In the City Staff or Crew/volunteer may take any action deemed necessary, including warning or expelling the offender from the event or function with no refund.
If you are, or notice someone else, being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of Infosec In the City Staff or Crew/volunteer immediately. Infosec In the City Staff of Crew/volunteer will be happy to help participants contact the venue security or local law enforcement, or provide escorts assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the event or function.
PRIVACY POLICY
We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way. In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet; e-mail address; computer and connection information. We use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We also collect personal information (including name, address, email address) and payment details (including credit card information).
We collect such Non-personal and Personal Information for the following purposes:

Our company is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases and the general Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
We may contact you to notify you regarding your visit, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our Terms of Use and Code of Conduct, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you.
